- Established from donations from members and her family and friends when she died in office as President in memory of Letitia Proctor (neé Shannon) BEc USyd (d.1993) Tish worked in banking, as a reporter to the “Financial Review”, and a tutor in Government for the Department of Adult Education at USyd. She was active in AFUW as a founding member of Southern Suburbs group, Chairman of North Shore group and NSW President 1992-3. Tish married Gerald Proctor in 1958.
This award was established through donations from members, family and friends in memory of Letitia Proctor (née Shannon), BEc, University of Sydney, who died in office as President in 1993.
Known as Tish, Letitia Proctor worked in banking, as a reporter for the Financial Review, and as a tutor in Government for the Department of Adult Education at the University of Sydney.
