GW NSW CITY BRANCH TAFE TO UNIVERSITY AWARDS FROM MID-2025
GWNSW City Branch has had a long association with TAFE NSW supporting women and girls in their advancement through the pursuit of education. City Branch recognises the special role that TAFE NSW plays in preparing students for university through its Tertiary Pathways Certificate (TPC) by providing a tertiary entrance score and access to university without the High School Certificate. As part of its ongoing support, City Branch offers awards to outstanding women who have successfully completed their TPC to a high standard and have successfully completed their first semester at University in 2025.
Value
The amount of the award varies from year to year and in 2024, we will be offering an award of up to $800 to one student from each of the six TAFE NSW regions.
Eligibility
- completed the Tertiary Preparation Certificate (TAFE) to a high standard in either 2023 or 2024
- overcome personal hardship or disadvantage in completing their study
- successfully completed the first semester of University study

Applicants must be nominated by the Head Teacher according to the criteria and specified application process. If you wish to know more and apply, please contact your TPC teacher or Head Teacher for further details and the application form.
