For mature-age women commencing their first university degree.
The Joan Bielski Scholarship is awarded every three years to women aged 35 years or over commencing the first year of their first university degree who can demonstrate hardship.
Value
$12,000 per annum for up to three years (subject to satisfactory progress)
Eligibility
- Female
- 35 years or over
- First-year undergraduate student
- Demonstrated hardship
- Valid reason for not commencing earlier
- Australian citizen or permanent resident
